♣GUIDE YOUR PROGENY ARIGHT…
Your children are your best and immediate representatives; starting from having them as kids, bearing your name, having your resemblance and acquiring primary socialization. Their thoughts, appearance, mannerism, and socialization depend so much on their home upbringing. Therefore, guiding your children in the basic practices obtainable in the society helps them to handle situations when found in one, as many have fallen victim of different social vices.
Here are some basic guides for your children…
♦Teach your children to always observe table manners, they might go on a visit or eat out someday.
♦Activate parental control on your cable networks and advice your friends to do so; especially those your children visit often.
♦Whenever your child goes out to play with friends, find out what kind of play they do. Young people now abuse themselves sexually. Again, Neglected children and those who are exposed to abuse are more likely to be prosecuted for juvenile delinquency.
♦Warn your child never to sit on anyone’s lap no matter the situation, including uncles.
♦It is advisable to preview any new material you bought for your kids like cartoons, before start seeing it themselves.
♦Teach your child or children the value of standing out in the crowd.
♦Educate your grown ups about the right value of sex. If you don’t, the ill society will teach them the wrong values.
♦Never force your child to visit any adult he/she is not comfortable with, also be observant if your child becomes too fond of a particular adult.
♦Never allow any adult to refer to your child as “My Wife” or “My Husband”, you can’t really explain what goes on in their head.
♦Do not scold your child very often, it either makes them fragile, have negative impression of who you are or bring out the beast in them. Children are like rubber band.
♦Avoid getting dressed in front of your child once he/she is 2years old. Learn to excuse them or yourself.
♦Once a very lively child suddenly becomes withdrawn, you may need to patiently ask lots of questions from him/her.
♦Do not scold your wife in the presence of your children, it will decrease the respect and value of a mother.
♦Teach your kids to be nice to their peers and bold to the bold ones, different children have different upbringings.
